A not so fun week...

My idea for this week was to get lots of scrapbooking done in the evenings, especially with a snow storm that put us under a level 3 and no work, but that did not happen.. instead I spent my snow day at the hospital. My 35 year old step brother in law had a massive stroke.  I am happy to report that he has made huge steps since then... It will be a long recovery but we are hopeful :-) 

This weekend we have had my niece and nephew and it has been a blast... A little hectic getting used to 4 kids and not 2 in the house, but I will miss them when we take them home this afternoon.... 

Here's to a week filled with work, scrapping and a big music event this weekend...

Saturday Fun

I love that my family like board games.... Today is a day spent playing Monopoly Empire... If you hate to play Monopoly because it is too long this is the game for you.. it is still Monopoly, but a quick playing version of it... it is full of fun, stealing properties, swapping properties and only $50, $100 and $500. :-)

The beginning

As the new year is upon us I decided that I needed to start a blog again (thanks to my friend KT).... not only will it be good for showing off my scrapbooking stuff, but a good way to talk about things that I need to scrapbook :)

This year I decided that I need to have a few resolutions... 

1. I will stop drinking anything with caffeine in it
2. I will start this blog
3. I will lose 20 pounds. I need to become healthier.
4. I will scrapbook. I have not scrapbooked in almost 3 years and need to get back at it. 
5. I will finish my 2014 project life scrapbook.
6. I will cook more meals for my family.
7. I will attend church on a more regular basis.
8. I will make my families vacation this year better than last years!
9. My scrapbook room will be organized.
10. Bryan and I will make more time to go on dates.

That being said... welcome to my blog.... I can't wait to start this amazing year!
